Members of BLF recognize that lawyers have a personal and professional responsibility to dismantle systemic inequalities and improve access to justice.
By becoming a member of BLF you can help support law students and young lawyers who are committed to social justice lawyering. (Plus you get the BLF newsletter!)

Why donate to BLF?
Since 1976, BLF has raised over one million dollars to fund hundreds of fellowships and grants. These donations have allowed law students and recent graduates to provide free legal services to people who are often denied equal access to the legal system including migrant workers, refugees, tenants in substandard housing, and prisoners.
Donations from people just like you have made possible legal services in area such as domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, child advocacy, lesbian and gay rights and environmental justice. Since the Berkeley Law Foundation is a federal and California tax-exempt, non-profit organization (501(c)(3)), your contribution is tax deductible.
